Digital Data at Your Fingertips. Beginning with Volume 9, now available, SSS Online articles let you retrieve the original digital data files, for every published spectrum, with a single mouse click. Earlier articles will get the same capability in the coming months.
SSS Online features:
- articles available for viewing and printing in Portable Document Format (PDF),
threaded and with thumbnails, or GZipped PostScript
- browsing by Table of Contents, with links to full
articles
- searchable database of all articles by authors,
titles, abstracts, keywords with links to matching
articles
- retrieve original digital data files for every published
spectrum with a single mouse click (available now for SSS Volume 9
and later, earlier articles will get this capability in the
coming months)
- gather and maintain your own collection of related
articles
- order fax, Internet or postal delivery of individual articles
(additional charge per article)
An SSS Online subscription provides access to every
SSS article and figure. As of November 2004 this amounts to more than 430 articles,
with figures representing more than 3300 individual spectra from nearly 700 different samples.
Beginning with Volume 9 (2002), SSS has been an e-first publication.
This means new articles are available online as soon as they are accepted and prepared for publication.
Anyone may view SSS Online's Tables of Contents and
Abstracts at http://www.scitation.org/ssso/.
Search capability and access to entire articles (PDF
format), including X/Y plots of spectral data and available digital
data files, are by subscription only. Individual subscriptions are $150 per calendar year, with a special rate of $100 for
individual AVS members. You can see sample
PDFs elsewhere on this page. To subscribe, or for more
information, contact SSS .
